There is no other zoo like Australia Zoo. Over 1200 animals. Morning tea/lunch at your own expense. However, you do have the options to bring your own lunch/drinks BUT NO GLASS. A guided tour of approximately 1 -1.5 hours of the major themes of the museum will be given. These include Brisbane people and WW11, interaction between Australian and American soldiers, experiences of children and wartime entertainment, the role of the railway, and the impact on Brisbane of the presence of the Navy, Army, and Airforce personnel. The Beenleigh Rum Distillery, established in 1884,is a heritage-listed distillery. The original rum was created here before even Coca Cola was invented. A tour will take in the history and processes that are used to make this truly Australian rum. Lunch will be at Beenleigh Sports Club. Cost includes bus, tour, tasting and lunch.
