Esk Bush Baskers

Travel to Esk to experience good old country style entertainment of music, singing, jokes and bush poems. The Esk Bush Bashers came together over 20 years ago and is comprised mostly of men from the Uniting Church playing piano, accordion, bass guitar, mouth organ, bush base (an old tea chest) and lagerphone and is accompanied by singers. Experience the wonderful mob that is the Esk Bush Bashers on this popular day out. Cost includes Bus, entertainment and lunch. NOT Wheelchair friendly. Member Cost $60/ Funded Member Cost $40

Blue Water Gardens at Blue Water Square

Blue Water Square recently opened a new community dedicated space called Bluewater Gardens. Since the launching in July, locals have enjoyed a variety of free and ticketed events, with an emphasis on creation and Social connection. In MARCH a games day will be held. Games available include scrabble, chess snakes & ladders and cards A light morning tea will be provided. This will be followed by a lunch at the Redcliffe Tavern at your own expense. Cost includes bus and activity. Wheelchair Friendly. Member Cost $10/ Funded Member Cost $5

Eumundi Markets

Eumundi Markets is a vibrant mecca for visitors and a shopping haven if your looking for something different. It’s a collaboration of many talented people seeking to sell their wares. It’s the originality and uniqueness that has customers coming back time after time.It opened it’s doors to the public March 24, 1979, with just eight visitors. Today it welcomes more than 1.6 million people who come to shop at over 600 stalls every year. This will approximately be a 3 hour visit. Lunch will be at member’s expense. Qld Museum “Jurassic World of LEGO”

An adventure 6 million LEGO bricks in the making. Ryan McNaught re-imagines Jurassic World, featuring large-scale dinosaurs, props, scenes and activities made from over 6 million LEGO bricks. More than 2 years and 10,000 build hours have gone into the creation of “Jurassic World by Brickman”. Also on ground level is the Dinosaur Garden and on level 2 is The Butterfly Man of Kuranda, The Dodd Collection and Insect Agency. Cost includes Bus, LEGO exhibition and lunch. Wheelchair Friendly. Brisbane Motor Museum

For Australian classic and sports car enthusiasts, 2024 has shaped up to be an exciting time, introducing the “Brisbane Motor Museum”. The Museum features 3-4 month rotating exhibits on all things motoring. There is also a café if you’re feeling like a coffee break. Lunch will follow at the Geebung RSL.
