Mary Valley Rattler

The Mary Valley Rattler has a rich and fascinating history that dates back to the early 20th century. Originally built to transport timber, the railway played a vital role in the region’s development. Today, it has lovingly been restored and offers a unique experience for visitors. With a 3hr and 40km journey, the Mary Valley Rattler is the third longest heritage railway in Australia. Sit back in time and experience the nostalgia of riding a fully restored heritage train through the stunning Mary Valley countryside. This trip has an early start due to the train departure time, but a worthwhile journey. Feel free to bring yourself a flask of tea/coffee and a bit of morning tea for the journey and don’t forget your drink bottle. Cost includes Bus, train journey and lunch afterwards at the train station. Wheelchair & Scooter NOT suitable except for train ride. Member Cost $120/ Funded Member Cost $100
